Hello and welcome to Seadrift Cakery

My name is Jessamy and I’ve been making delicious cakes for 10 years now. Working from my Cornish cottage kitchen I offer a friendly yet professional service from your initial enquiry right through to delivery and set up. At Seadrift Cakery I only use top quality ingredients that are sourced locally from this beautiful county as much as possible. My lifelong passion for baking has naturally combined with my love of design. With a background in textile design and visual merchandising , colour and texture have  always played a big part in my life.

This creative flair has meant I can now pride myself on cakes that combine taste and style in equal measure. Beautiful sugar flowers are a particular love of mine. They create a stunning, delicate look which truly brings a cake alive whilst having the added advantage of being a lasting memento of a special occasion   ( if treated with respect, like most of the finer things in life.) You can of course have the certainty and flexibility of any flower, in any colour, at any time of the year! There is also no need to worry about the toxic nature of some flowers that are unsuitable for food contact.

As you will only ever work with me from design to delivery, you can be assured of a truly personal service at every step. Please do get in touch to check availability.  To maintain my high standards I only ever work on a very limited number of cakes at one time so I do tend to get quite booked up. I love the fact that every celebration is different and I’ll love working with you to ensure that your cake is just as you’d imagined or better!
